Cake Storage

Certainly when storing cake the main rule is that they should be in an air tight container. Tins seem preferred storage but this is mainly due to the fact that plastic containers can have a residue smell from items before. I tend to not put my sponge in the fridge as I think it can alter the texture, but then in my household it's never around long enough to worry about it!
